I worked directly with structural engineering, steel fabrication and erectors to design and put in place these auxiliary footings thus saving this high revenue non-conforming expressway bulletin from removal.
This bulletin visibility was blocked by trees that grew into its sight line and could not be trimmed due to change in state regulations. The solution was to raise the HAGL (height at ground level) 20 feet to overcome the visibility issues while keeping the capital budgets ROI in line with expected revenues.
Installation of a back-to-back LED digital inside a busy office in a transportation center. The signage needed to be hung from the mezzanine level and be serviceable without lifts due to its location overhanging the pedestrian escalator area. The solution was dual winches located inside the ceiling joists that would allow the signage to be lowered and raised when servicing was required.
